The Honeymoon Continues

I only have a few hours to do this before my blog is featured on SITS, but I have to put this up.

Today, this cute boy and I celebrate 26 years of marriage.  That's right.  Twenty. Six. Years.

That's how old I was when I had my second child.  I bet a good number of you are within MONTHS of your 26th birthday, one way or another.

It goes faster than you think, and while life isn't one big crescendo - some years just plain suck, no matter how hard you're trying - I can honestly say I have never been more in love with my husband than I am today.

Ride out the tough times, girls.  Cling to that partner.  See it through.

And maybe you'll win the marriage lottery, just like I did.

Really.  You should be so lucky.

I LOVE the 2 pics! And its so true about some years you just have to cling to that partner and pray you make it to the next year. This year is a good one for us too. Thanx for sharing!

**awww** That's really cute, congratulations!! I've known my Hubs since I was 11 and we've been together for a measly little 4 years, but I'm looking forward to the rest of it!!

Congratulations. Love this. Love you. And if it's not innaporpriate to say so, I think your hub is delightful and gracious and lovely. So, good work, you.

You guys are adorable.

And I hope all that SITS fame doesn't go to your head and make you think you're Mario Lopez, or something.

Congratulations on 26 years! I'll bet it has something to do with the way he's looking at you in that first picture...

And thanks for reminding me that I'm within months of my 26th birthday. No, seriously, I really forgot.

Happy Anniversary! And I too feel like I won the marriage lottery! We have 27 this August. (I married when I was 14 - we do things like that in UT)

Fingers crossed I make it to 26 years and that we're as in love as you two are. I love that you ended up with the guy you had the big, huge crush on. The one you knew you were going to marry long before he did. You two certainly deserve each other.

Here's to 26 more and forever and ever!! Love you both!

You do have a great man there. I mean, he has a great spirit about him. Kind and thoughtful. But time invested in a good union makes it better and better and better.

You guys rock!

That is so romantic! :D
I believe you, I'm sure it goes by fast. But I still love every minute of it...our 4th anniversary is coming up. And I think with any honestly good marriage, you love each other more and more.
I've heard people say they wish they could relive their honeymoons, but guess what? Sure it was great (understatement), but it gets better and better--all the good stuff is ahead!
I've always loved Michael as much as I possibly could, but because we've both grown, that means I love him more than I did then.

I didn't mean to make this comment my own mini post on how much I'm in love with my husband! Oh well! Kind of can't help it when I start talking about him...

Its fantastic to hear you have such a long and loving marriage. Though I'm on my second marriage (I think of my first as a training period...) I've been with my second (and I jokingly call him my 'present husband') 13 wonderful years and counting. I fully expect to celebrate my 26th with him someday.
