Sharpen Those Elbows

Now it's getting scary. Whip up a fresh batch, in case you need a little extra.

December 19:

You've resisted valiantly, but today you accepted the inevitable: You're going to have to shop in a store with a name ending in "Mart".

Keep the fudge in the glove compartment for immediate consumption following check-out.

I'm serious about this.

Oh my gosh, DeNae. I wish you had posted this twelve hours ago. Totally did the "Mart" thing today and I wish I had a slab of fudge with me. Had some dodgy chinese instead. blech.

I know. I know. I might actually have to hit up two differnt marts today.

I am so scared.

Got ticked off at them last summer and swore off "Mart" I haven't set foot in it since (except to use that $25 gift card -- they had the money already, I wasn't gonna let it be a donation)

I confess, I haven't made fudge yet this year, but I will be making copious amounts next week!

Made the fudge... LOVED it. Easiest recipe ever!

As for that store... I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it...

Ha, ha! I told my husband this morning, "Well, I'm sorry you don't have any deodorant, but you should have told me earlier. Use mine. I absolutely will not go to ---Mart or Targ-- on the Saturday before Christmas. I would rather die."

I'm hoping to find toys for some certain little boys and girls at a bargain price... looks like I'm headed to a "mart" today, too.

Ha-ha-ha! So true! You don't want to know how many times I've been forced to do the "Mart dance" this year. I try not to think about it. ;-)

Stein-mart or Wal-mart? ;)

The words "Kill me now" come to mind.

The only thing worse than shopping there would be working there.

Reading this gave me the creeps because that's exactly where I went, despite my shop-in-the-wee-local-shops policy. I'm so ashamed.

yeah I hate those "mart" stores. I haven't been to one since before thanksgiving.

and speeking of fudge, I just had the creamiest white fudge with marschino cherries mixed in. Just fabulous.

You have stores that don't have the word"Mart in them??
