It May Look Like it Came From Rudolph...

Welcome to my annual salute to fudge! Click here to get the recipe, as well as an explanation as to why I won't be featuring other tasty holiday treats this month. You only have to take one look at my...um...sweet spirit to know that I have a place in my heart for all sorts of deliciousness, but fudge is numero uno at Christmas time!

December 2:

It's only the 2nd day of December, but you've already watched "Rudolph, the Red-nosed Reindeer" 43 times without going bonkers when they change the dentist-elf's name from "Herbie" to "Hermie" and back again. Couldn't anyone read a script in the 60's??

(Eat the fudge straight out of the pan for this one; you've earned it.)

I hope you have a lot of sugar and cream on hand to make all that fudge you are indulging in. You really like fudge THAT much? What about caramels nut clusters, toffee? You really shouldn't be so narrow-minded.
You gotta live life on the edge girl!

I've seen it at least 10 times this week--but I have learned to tune it out.

How have I managed an entire lifetime without knowing that about Rudolph? Now I have to watch again so I can be on the "in the know" crowd and laugh.

My friend's uncle was the voice for Hermie. Isn't that wild?
My dudes are terrified of the bouncing bumble.

K, first...that Corinne girl is absolutely adorable. She's cute! She's CUUUUUUUUUUUTE!!!!!

But she's got a point: toffee is yummy and the Boss Elf is a GRUMP!

My favorite part of that show is when they're singing for Santa and he spends the whole song rolling his eyes and tossing and turning in his seat.

Now that I think about it, Santa's a GRUMP, too!!!
