Next Stop: Cave Paintings

We are experiencing technical difficulties. Our family computer is on life support. The Plan B computer is a sociopath. I don't know how much time I have before it notices I'm trying to post something new and comes at me with a flame thrower.

My technological life could be made into one of those futuristic movies where the robots and the computers and the garbage disposals all become self-aware and attempt to take over the world.

So I may not be heard from for a while. I'm going underground to join the Resistance, using snail mail and smoke signals to keep off the Master Domain's radar, until such time as our version of Sarah Connor and her 'terminal to the terminators' kid save the day.

Meanwhile, here are a couple of posts from happier, more innocent times. I hope to be back soon - stronger, wiser, having earned the respect and awe of our household appliances.

Power to the people!

Does this involve Christian Bale as John Conner?

I think my coworker would interject at this point and ask if he takes his shirt off.

DeNae, this is your computer speaking, er, um, typing. Relax. We have everything under control. We have your credit card number, social security number and amazon.com log in information . . . you can just sit back, eat a bowl of M&M's (our data indicate humans like to consume large quantities of chocolate), and let us handle everything.

It will be ok!
Those cute little birds on your board are really freedom fighters endowed with super powers to quash computer rebellions and restore power to the righteous

Um ya...this isn't going to work out for me. You get your sh*z together post haste. (Get it? "Post" haste? Nevermind.) I feel your pain, though. These are going to be a few very trying days for you. I need you to take deep, cleansing breaths (similar to the ones I'm doin' because Tavis informed me that Dalton would be staying til tomorrow because he doesn't have school.) and then drive you arse to the library & blog your butt off!

Wanna borrow my phone? I'd be hard pressed to decide which I'd miss the most: texting or your blog.
Love you!

I'm coming over from Mormon Mommy Blogs, asking for your help. I am in the running for a round trip airfare paid ticket to Connecticut, to meet a friend I became acquainted with through blogging. She is a super fun person and is holding this contest. I entered a funny story titled "Grapejuice Floaties, Now Marry Me." The person whose story receives the most votes will win a trip to meet this generous lady, whom I'm hoping to meet. The voting ends tonight-midnight. I used to be ahead but there is a story coming up from behind out of nowhere, and it's a tight race now. I would so much appreciate your help. Her blog is www.becausemomsaidso.blogspot.com and the voting is on the sidebar on the right. "Grapejuice, Floaties" Just go there and cast a vote for me, please. Thanks so much-you're awesome! ♥♥

Oh I hope the computers stop running amok at your place so you can get back to blogging.

LOL@Kristina: I was going to ask the same thing! I love me some Christian Bale.

Hope your computer gets back to working beautifully. Don't take too long to come back to us!

DeNae, there are ways around this mess. I advised my friends to "draw" their photos when their camera stopped working.

I am now advising you to send us all mail via snail mail. That should work. You can have a detachable section at the bottom for comments to be sent back.

Just a suggestion...

OH NO! I don't know what I will do without my Denae fix! I'll have to go back to the beginning and start reading all of your posts again.
